In 2011, the principal investigator in the this grant of National Centre of Science, prof. Enrique Alarcon from University of Navarra (Pamplona, Spain), have discovered and proposed new interpretation of the inscription founded in the apostolic mauzoleum in Santiago. In 2013 international group of scientist from Spain and Poland created a research team for study a several, interdyscyplinary topics related to the history of Apostolic Tomb in Santiago de Compostela. The starting point was the discovery of Enrique Alarcon which open a new way of interpretation of history of Camino de Santiago with its impact on many anthropological and theological issues. The group is formed by three teams:

Recently, Faculty of Theology at Nicolaus Copernicus University (NCU) in Toruń organized 1st Conference “Camino Polaco: Theology-Art-History-Present” with participation of several professors, pilgrim association, representative of cities and willages located in polish trace of Camino de Santiago. Many of the topics presented during the conference was publish in the first volume of the serie: Camino Polaco, editing by Piotr Roszak and Waldemar Rozynkowski.
